Eucerin Sun Fluid Matifiant SPF 50+ ~ Review
I haven't done a blog post in a while but I have been so busy with coursework and things for college that I haven't had the time to do any posts >.<" ~ but anyhow today I am going to do a review of a sunscreen I have been using. I bought this sunscreen whilst I was on holiday in France, Paris in the summer because I needed a new one and haven't had the chance to try it out until last month so I couldn't exactly remember how much I payed for this but it wasn't too expensive, that's all I remember.
The actual product and the packaging it came with, unfortunately I did not pay much attention to my french lessons back in school so I can not understand a lot on what the packaging says as it's all in french and another language which I'm not quite sure what it is...
The texture of this product is very milky (it's in one of those packagings where you have to shake it up to use it) and also the camera didn't pick up the colour that well but the product is in a yellowy beige colour and not white like in the picture
When the product is blended out, you can see how runny and watery this sunscreen is
Texture: 5/5
I personally prefer sunscreens with a milky/watery consistency as to a thick cream as it sinks into my skin a lot easy and as someone having oily/combination skin it doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin at all
Scent: 4.5/5
I am the worst at describing scents to people but the product doesn't smell of that horrible sunscreen smell which I can't stand and is what usually puts me off from wearing some sunscreens. This product has a very soft fruity and floral scent that isn't artificial and isn't too overpowering
Performance: 3.5/5
As much as I like the texture, scent and colour of it, on the packaging it sells the product to be 'Matifiant' but for me it didn't leave a matte finish to the skin. It left a sort of sheen on your skin, which I wouldn't mind as much in the winter but in the summer I feel like this sunscreen would make my skin a little greasy looking through out the day.
Accessibility: 1.5/5
This is judging from my perspective and from where I live, In England we can not buy this product by just walking into a chemist. But if you live in France or I'm sure many other countries you will be able to buy this easily. For me I have found no luck in finding Eucerin Sunscreens in England because our range for that brand isn't very big.
Overall: 4/5
Overall, I do like this sunscreen and I will use it up but it definitely isn't the best one I have used before. The thing I like the most about this is that it comes out a yellowy beige colour instead of a typical white cream. By no means does this have a tint or any coverage in the product at all, it's just a yellow colour which is good because a lot of sunscreens leave a white cast to my face, I think all sunscreens should be tinted a yellowy beige colour to be honest. It also doesn't clog my pores or break me out and has quite a high SPF of 50.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Take care ~ ♥
