Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum Review
As I promised in my haul which was a while ago now, I said I will do reviews on the products that I have bought on cosmetic-love and I am now here to do the review on the Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum.

"Enriched with Green Tea Seed and Green complex from pure Jeju island. Green Tea Pure revives dry, stressed skin by supplying abundant moisture."
This serum is made for those people with dry skin, and although my skin type is combination/oily my skin is also dehydrated at the same time, and my skin has been getting drier because of the cold weather and acne treatments, so I thought this product will be perfect to soothe my skin.

I first heard about this product from a Korean youtuber 'AhraMaBlog' or her blog http://www.cyworld.com/aradazzblog and from there I did a lot of research into this product and at first I was skeptical about trying this out since I didn't have dry skin and thought it would be too greasy on my skin. It is my first time trying a hydrating/moisture serum since majority of my previous ones are all to do with oil control, pore minimizing or acne fighting, but I thought I would give this a go and see if it would help with my dehydrated and slightly dry skin. Furthermore, when I was researching on this product I couldn't find a whole lot of reviews in English so I am here to give you more information and hopefully help you out in some way if you were thinking of buying this product.

The serum itself comes in a 80ml plastic bottle, which is a lot of product compared to many other serums. I usually prefer serums that come in a glass bottle because they look sturdier and more elegant but because 'Innisfree' is a eco friendly brand it makes more sense that it comes in a plastic packaging than glass. at the back it even asks the customer to return the bottle to innisfree when you have finished the product, I'm guessing so that they can recycle it. Of course this only applies to people who live in Korea.

Onto the actual product, in the picture the serum looks almost translucent but in person the product comes in a very slight milky shade. The texture is between being water and a gel type, it's slightly thicker than water but much lighter than a gel, which makes it feel really light weight when applied.

The product spreads really easily on the skin and you don't need to use a lot, 1-2 pumps is enough to cover your whole face and neck. Also, because the product a very light consistency, the product doesn't take a long time for it to absorb into the skin which is always a bonus if you don't like waiting forever for products to be completely absorbed.

Price: 5/5
Fragrance: 3.5/5
Texture: 5/5
Hydration/Moisture: 4/5
Effect: 3.8/5

Overall Comment:
I like this serum, and would definitely recommend it for those with combination/dry skin. I found the moisture level to be just enough for me, but if you suffer from dry-very dry skin, this serum may not be the best moisture serum for you and you may need to layer another serum or use a more moisturizing cream afterwards. This serum makes my dry and dehydrated areas of my skin feel baby soft!
The fragrance is smells fresh and natural, but it is quite strong so if you know you can't use any skin care items that have a strong scent to it you might want to skip on this one. The scent doesn't linger and goes within 10-15 minutes once absorbed into the skin.
However, I found that this serum only provided me hydration but didn't cure the dryness/dehydration in my skin. The effects only lasted temporarily when I had the product on and when I wash my face again my skin became dry again.

Would I repurchase:
Yes, but only in the winter since I will feel this is going to be too moisturizing for my skin in the summer.

Take Care ~ ♥
