Memebox SUPERBOX #52 THUMBS UP! BEAUTY BOX ~ Unboxing Haul
Who's heard of all these beauty boxes that are coming out? I mean I first heard of birchbox and then all these other ones; glossybox, ipsy, jolie box, memebox and etc.
I have always been interested in trying one out and was contemplating purchasing memebox from Korea through easybuy7 but then never got round to it ~

Then memebox announced that they had a global version but I think when it was first launched it was only within the USA if I am correct or maybe I just misunderstood ~ then I found out that they shipped worldwide and wanted to give it a shot ~ I bought two boxes, the thumbs up beauty box and also the sleeping beauty memebox which hasn't been shipped out yet ~

I have heard that although all the products are Korean in the worldwide version but they are different from the Korean version which I am fine about since I didn't mind exploring new brands ~

Unlike birchbox, glossybox and etc THIS IS NOT A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION BOX!! you purely pay the price of one box and that's it and they have many different boxes for you to choose from ~

The shipping I would say was fast actually ~ it was shipped out on the 16th September and arrived on the 24th September in the UK and I paid for standard shipping too O_O but that's a good thing since I don't have to wait forever

Cute Hot Pink Box GAHHHHHHH SOOOO CUTEEEE ~ <3
Everything is so neatly packed in the box ^^ ~ not messy at all <3
Overview of what's inside kekeke ~ <3

must I say I LOVE THE COLOUR OF THE BOX, yes I am a sucker for pink but this hot pink is so attention grabbing and cute at the same time ~

The superbox claims to have all full sized products so no sample sizes (but honestly I like sample sizes more so if I don't like a product I can use it up quicker) and the products within this box has been voted by people of previous memebox customers of the products they want to appear and see again in their beauty box... since I was never a customer before I decided to give this one a shot anyways XD

1) Hope Girl 3D Powder Blusher #01 Sexy Rose 5g

Product description:
This easy to use blusher creates a subdued polish finish that creates a more 3 dimensional face shape for the look of a sharper jaw line and smaller sized face. Allantonin and vitamin E derivatives protect your skin against external irritation and keep skin glowing and healthy.

How to use:
Apply it to the skin with a gentle light touch using the built in puff attached to the case

The packaging of this product feels cheap but hey it still looks cute though O_O ~ However although the product looks really pretty in the pan when you actually apply it onto the skin it has a lot of shimmer or should I actually say GLITTER... now I don't mind shimmer or glitters but the glitters are literally all over the blusher and are quite visible too... I prefer a sheen or a matte blush so unfortunately I don't think me and this would get on very well (though I haven't actually tested it out on my skin yet)

2) Kocostar Nail Therapy 4g x 2 each

Product description:
The Kocostar Nair Therapy was created to provide simple solution to maintain healthy looking nails. This product took great measures to prevent the nail essence from drying off, and we developed nail globes to prevent any contact with surrounding air. It will allow nails to deeply absorb all the nutrients, resulting in softened cuticles and strengthened nails

How to use:
Wear the nail therapy masks over each of your finger and rest for 30-60 minutes for best results

I am not huge into nails, I must say I am blessed with quite healthy and strong nails that grow long without breaking off, but there are times especially during winter where I would get rough and dry skin and I think this would come into handy when those times comes ~ when my cuticles are feeling rough I will try this and do a review

3) Real Beauty Serum 50ml
Randomly selected from A. Morning Dew Bamboo Serum (Green), B. Ultra Waterful Serum (White), C. Moist Soothing Rose Serum (Pink), D. Bouncy Firming Serum (Yellow)

Product description:
Made from various organic ingredients such as aloe vera, green tea, bamboo water and bulgarian rose water, this all-natural serum will put an end to your troubles over dry, lusterless, sensitive and saggy skin. This serum is very special because it's actually made from collaboration with Real Beauty's fans, and thus it's greatly prized for containing only the most gentle and most vital nutrients beneficial to your skin!

How to use:
Pump out 2-3 times and apply the serum from the inner face towards the outer contours of your face. Gently pat it in for better absorbance.

If you haven't guessed from my hauls and reviews I am a complete skincare junkie, though I love makeup too because of the pretty colours I love trying skin care way more since if you don't have nice skin no foundation, BB cream, CC cream and etc will save it to be honest ~ I received B. Ultra waterful serum and though I don't have dry skin I am looking forward to trying this out once I finish my Laneige water bank essence

*IMAGE MISSING FROM CAMERA ~ I WILL TAKE ANOTHER ONE & FILL IN THIS SPOT HOPEFULLY BY TOMORROW T_T* SORRY IT'S QUITE LATE IN THE UK RIGHT NOW... PAST MIDNIGHT AND THE IMAGES WON'T TURN OUT AS CLEAR AND NICE ~ APOLOGIES!!! BUT I WANTED TO POST THIS UP BEFORE I SLEEP ~

4) Rivercombe Sebum Control Convenient Compact 8g

Product description:
Touch up anytime with this Sebum Control Convenient Compact specially designed to mattify oily skin and control oil slicks throughout the day. This compact instantly mattifies with results that last for up to 8 hours, revealing a natural, flawless complextion with zero shine all day long. It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and blemishes, and gives you a perfectly smooth complexion.
How to use:
Lightly tap puff onto the compact. Apply over the entire face for a matte finish

Because I have oily/combination skin I always tend to set my makeup with powder around the T-zone, chin and hairline and sometimes even all over depending on how my skin feels, though I do have quite a lot of powders (including powder foundations) I am looking forward to seeing how this perform, I swatched it on my hand and it feels really soft, it reminds me of the Innisfree No Sebum Compact but this has colour in it... I am currently using my Urban Decay Naked skin loose powder and I love that but we will see if this compares to that

5) O& Soap Berry Cleanser 100ml

Product description:
A foaming cleanser with frothy, fine and creamy foam with Soap Berry known for it's natural cleansing property and carbonated water to gently cleanse the impurities and makeups and to reveal your natural luminosity on your skin.

How to use:
Apply evenly to face and neck, massage, and rinse off with warm water

The packaging reminds me a lot of The body shop stuff... or is it just me? anyways that's not the point ~ I have yet to try this out yet but from the sounds of this it just sounds like a regular cleanser anyways, I am not fussed about cleansers as long as they clean the skin well XD This is probably the one product I am least happy about being in here but we never know

6) Miguhara B.P Cream 30ml
Product description:
This dual-function cream serves both as a BB cream as well as a primer. It keeps skin silky and even-toned, while controlling excessive sebum through its oil free formula.

How to use:
Apply all over the face, especially over any visible pores

Again I have only tried this on the back of my hand so I am not sure how well it covers pores but judging from the hand application I am liking this... I think the coverage would be light though but it dries fast into a powdery finish and isn't sticky at all, usually when I try out foundations or BB creams I test them on the back of my hand first and they would be thick and creamy which can be sticky but that's not the case for this one... I am probably most looking forward to trying this out because I have quite visible pores so anything that would help cover them I am up for it hahah!

7) Herbclinic Rice Bran Powder 80g

Product description:
100% RAW Rice Bran powdered into a product, this Rice Bran Powder pack brings you the best of what Mother Nature has to offer! Mix 1 tsp of rice bran powder with milk or any other liquid/gel type natural ingredient to create a mask pack. It will deliver intense nourishment and instant revival to your skin after a tiring day! You'll be able to feel a visible difference the next morning.

How to use:
Mix up 1 tsp of the rice bran powder with 1 tsp of oatmeal, black bean or brown rice and an adequate amount of milk until the mixture becomes relatively thickened. It's even better if you could use a steam towel to open up all your pores before mask application. Then, apply a skin toner or essence to prevent dehydration and thickly spread the mixture over your face. Rinse off after 15-20 minutes.

This sounds really fun, I have always heard of rice bran powder used in cosmetics especially during the olden times like Joseon Dynasty times haha! But I was always too lazy to buy rice bran powder, I wonder if this is just regular rice bran powder or if it's slightly different
Anyways I will do a review of this surely hahaha and show you all how this works and feels :3

AND THAT IS ALL THE PRODUCTS ^O^ ~

Overall Thoughts on Memebox:
I am actually impressed, but then again I think it's probably because I haven't received any other memebox so I am not sure what the star products was before, I saw on instagram and other reviews saying this was disappointing? so I'm guessing they were expecting other products then... But for me I like majority of the stuff and will use and test them out to see if I love anything and report back on these products

I think it's definitely worth the price for all these products, like I said I like samples but sometimes I like to receive full sized items too because it feels like I am getting the most out of what I am paying for ~

I think I will be quite addicted in these boxes... which I hope I won't be because I will be starting university on the 29th September >_< and I will need money for books and things too :( But I want to try more of these boxes

If you like more famous mainstream Korean brands you will most likely not like this box much, since I haven't heard of any of these brand names before, but if your like me and like to explore and try new stuff then memebox will be perfect for you, but don't worry memebox also do featured brands which are more well known like Tony Moly, Etude House and Holika Holika :)

In the meantimes, take care <3 ~

REVIEW: Etude House Face Conditioning Cream Light ~
As in my haul I have stated I was excited to be using this cream because of all the hype from the beauty community raving about it ~ However I will say this now... I just don't understand the concept of this product? or well that's not true I do because I know it's meant to be an all in one product; a moisturizer, a sunscreen and a primer... But for me it didn't fit in any of these categories

a squeezable tube which reminds me a bit like toothepaste packaging.. but in a giant form... or even those who have used embryolisse lait creme concentre ~

Korean description and information

The packaging I must say is adorable ~ though I must say the lid does feel quite cheap and the overall materials used but I can pass by that because of the price being quite inexpensive but I love the colours used

& in english too like majority of Etude House products ~ sorry I didn't realize how blurry the bottom of the picture was for these >.< ~
I will double check next time I take the pictures before throwing them into my recycle bin

ETUDE HOUSE FACE CONDITIONING CREAM LIGHT SPF 25/PA ++

This is a quick and easy make-up boosting cream that smoothly conditions skin with its light and soft texture for a makeup-ready complexion

[DIRECTION] after applying toner, spread a certain amount of Face conditioning cream light evenly onto face

2.54 oz  /  75g

-     Etude House, Korea

SORRY THE INGREDIENTS LIST TURNED OUT BLURRY >_<" & I ALREADY THREW AWAY THE PACKAGING A WHILE AGO T_T ~

& Korean ingredients too ~ though you can't see it that clearly :(

though the packaging may not be the most sturdiest I have bought but one thing Etude house wins by far is the cutesy packaging ~ this doesn't follow the whole pink princess fairytale like packaging like their makeup products or their animal themes but it definitely is 'cute' with a hint of sophistication there... HOWEVER I love the different typography used on the back and the different font sizes makes it more interesting than if it was all in one font and one size... Sorry my obsession with typography and packaging needs to stop, but hey I studied graphic designs in college for a reason haha XD ~

Squeeze tube ~ I have a love/hate relationship, you can get all the product out but sometimes you squeeze out too much T_T

But the actual product... the texture is quite dry which is understandable because this is the 'light' version & it's meant to be better for oily/combination skin which is the skin type I have.
When I first got this I purely used it as a primer because I have loads of moisturizers already & I prefer a more hydrating moisturizer... however, this as a primer made my makeup melt off even quicker and left it going blotchy which I never had any problems with my hourglass primer and touch in sol...
Then I used it on days as just a sunscreen without any makeup but it left my skin feeling quite suffocated and broke me out the next day to these little pimples around my jaw and side of my nose -.- So I used it as a moisturizer because I saw people use that but it left my skin feeling too dry and tight ~

I squeezed out too much product :( this would have been probably enough for the whole face application
spread spread spread ~

then voila final when cream is absorbed ~ one thing I would say is it you don't have to wait ages for it to absorb and you can see a little brightening/whitening effect on the skin too ~

Consistency test:
it's basically like a light cream/emulsion milk texture which isn't sticky or runny, it has a slight powdery/matte finish texture to it though

GOOD:
- Lightweight good for those who want a matte skin all day long
- Gives an instant brightening/whitening effect
- Squeezable tube so you can get all the product out
- Inexpensive
- Cute design on packaging

CONS:
- Formula too dry
- Leaves a powdery finish after a few hours of application (if no makeup is applied after)
- Not moisturizing enough as a moisturizer, doesn't work on it's own as a sunscreen, doesn't make my makeup last any longer as a primer
- Cheap packaging
- Overpowering perfume scent which STAYS on your skin for ages

OVERALL

Duration of use: 1-2 months
Price Paid: USD $13.95

Application: Lightweight cream formula
Fragrance: highly scented overpowering floral perfume fragrance
Packaging: 3/5
Texture: 3/5
Formula: 2/5
RATING: 2/5

Other comments:
This product has a very heavily scented perfume smell to it which can be very irritating to those with sensitive skin ~ I don't usually break out due to scented products but I did find everytime I used this I had those very tiny pimples seeping through my skin ~ GRRR

WHO WOULD I RECOMMEND TO?___________________________________________
those who have really really oily skin which isn't acne prone or have sensitive skin and can stand the overpowering perfume fragrance, LITERALLY this is like perfume in a face cream form -.-

Repurchase:  NO

Lots of love <3 ~

REVIEW: Etude House Sparkling Tocs! All in One Gel ~
I bought this a while back after I saw it launch, I was intrigued because of the packaging & the gel itself looks so cool with the floating yellow beads inside the thick clear gel ^o^ ~ (Yes, I'm a sucker for packaging and the way things are presented)

Of course I didn't just buy it for it's pretty and cute design though, the concept of this did catch my eye, it's a gel that you are meant to use for 7 days straight for 1 month and you only use this for 7 days once a month that is, so in total it would last you around 3 months

Product comes with the outer box, the product and a spatula ~ so adorable <3

I believe you can use this day & night especially if you have really dry skin and if your skin tends to be flakey and peeling when you apply on make-up ~ but I only use this at night time since in the morning it would be too much for my skin ~

Thick gel with millions of tiny yellow beads ~

& a up close image to see the texture and beads ^^

This gel is leaned for those who have more normal/dry/very dry skin and even though my skin is pretty much the opposite, I have oily/combination skin during summer time, my skin gets really dehydrated, Also it is meant to brighten and clarify the skin as well which is something I lack in ~ furthermore Etude House has posted their own little check list as to whether or not you would think this is suitable for your skin

CHECK LIST
1) Bed time is irregular
2) I feel sleeping time is not enough all the time
3) I eat instant food/junk food up to or more than 3-4 times a week
4) I use the computer for more than 4 hours a day
5)I often feel indigestion
6) Make-up does not fit or sit well on my skin
7) My skin doesn't improve anymore even though I use expensive high end cosmetics
8) I hardly eat any vegetables that contain vitamins & chlorophyll
9) I often drink processed beverages e.g. soda
10) Do people around you ask "are you tired" a lot?

if you are related to more than 5 of the things above on the checklist it means your skin feels tired
         - Etude House, KOREA

For me I have checked around 5-6 of the check list above including 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and also to an extent 7 as well since I find my skin could improve a little bit :( all in all my skin is lacking in luminosity rather than dryness ~

The main magical ingredients in this product is carbonic acid and lemon extract with vitamin C to help moisturize and making the skin look more clear and brighter ~

Carbonic Acid Massage Effect

Carbonic Acid melted in the transparent gel cream takes care of your skin clearly through massage effect

Lemon Extract with Vitamin C

Yellow lemon extract beads with rich vitamic make the skin completed softly by helping the turnover of dead skin cells

[DIRECTIONS]
  • Use this item for 1 week intensively when your skin look tired & exhausted
  • Spread it on the face & neck fully with inserted spatula in the morning & evening instead of Toner, Essence, Cream etc

Despite I only used this at night I stuck with the regime of using this for 7 days straight, using the spatula I took out about 6-7 scoops of the product which was just the right amount to get through each day ~

As usual ~ the consistency test, although it appears thick it's quite watery when in contact with your skins temperature too ~

The gel itself reminds me sort of like aloe vera gel in that thick gel consistency... (maybe even a little thicker) but once you start rubbing the gel into the skin it turns into a really watery and runny texture

Applying on one scoop of gel with the spatula ~

spreaded out ~ the hand looks really wet and shiny and sticky and moist >.< ~

Then after a few minutes ...
TADA!!! completely absorbed in and skin looks more softer and brighter and glowing too ~

This does take a long time to fully absorb into the skin than per say your average moisturizing cream/emulsion and even longer than aloe vera gel, if you have ever used aloe vera gel you would know that it's not the easiest thing to absorb to the skin but this takes a good 10+ minutes O____O"
I guess in the mean time you can do facial massages on your face to stimulate blood flow, get rid of toxins build up & to slim the face too

I forgot to mention you can use this just on it's own as it is meant to be an 'all in one' gel, so after you have cleaned and toned you can use this straight up, I had used this with my serums and my eye cream as well which may also be the leading factor as to why it took that long to absorb into my skin

Can you read the ingredients list ~ I tried typing it up but the clear background was driving me nuts ~ >_< sorry!!!

GOOD:

- Hydrates your skin really well
- Made my skin significantly smoother & softer after the 7 days of use
- Added more glow and luminosity to my skin
- Skin looks less tired
- Hasn't broken me out
- Smells really nice
- Has a cooling sensation when you are massaging your skin
- A simple all in one gel meaning no need for extra serum, essence, lotion, eye cream and etc

CONS:

- Takes a long time to fully absorb into the skin
- Feels really sticky whilst applying it on but goes away once it's absorbed
- Haven't noticed my skin tone becoming more clarified and transparent

OVERALL

Duration of use: 7 days
Application: Thick gel formula
Price paid: USD $18.99
Texture: 1.5/5
Hydration: 5/5
Brightening: 2/5
Packaging: 5/5
Fragrance: 4/5 - it has a VERY VERY STRONG CIRTUS AND LEMON SCENT ~ I personally like it but if you don't like citrus smelling things this would irritate you
RATING: 3.8/5

Other Comments:
I gave it a 3.8 because I like it a bit more than 3.5 & I would most likely repurchase this when my 3 months are up especially during the winter time but I can't give t a 4 yet just because I have only used it for my first month so far & also I really don't like the sticky texture whilst I am applying it onto my face >_<"

WHO WOULD I RECOMMEND TO?
If you have dry skin or any of the problems above on the checklist

Would I Repurchase? Yes

REVIEW: The Face Shop Whitening Mist Sun SPF 40/PA+++ ~
Since summer is here now and the sun is always out which means we all have to protect our skin from the harsh UV rays so we don't damage our skin ~ did you know the sun is very damaging to not only our skin but our bodies as well?

I have very sensitive skin on my face compared to my body, though my body burns as well then eventually that burn turns into a tan but the burn is just too much to handle... my face is even worse due to my acne medications I take and apply on my skin :(

I bought this because it's in a mist form for uses when I am outside and wearing make-up on that day, because we all know it's pretty much impossible to reapply sunscreen when we are wearing make-up unless we remove all of it... but who would do that O___O"

The packaging is like of any regular face mist, it comes with 200ml of product
YOU HAVE TO SHAKE THIS PRODUCT or the mist won't come out as a fine spray and will smear your make-up (trust me I learned it the hard way *sighs)
... it had a lid btw but I lost it yesterday >___<" ~

The packaging is all in Korean, so I have no idea what it really says nor the ingredients used as well ~

The mist is very fine and the design of the top makes the spray spread out so it covers the entire face rather than just squirting at one particular place ~

Before application of anything ~

If you don't shake the bottle, the sunscreen becomes blotchy and a thick white droplets of the mist collects on the skin, if you apply the mist over makeup & you don't shake it well it would smear your makeup

This is if you shake the bottle and spray the mist ~ see the difference? you can hardly see any of the mist droplets because it's that fine of a mist, remember to spray 20 cm away from the face though ~ ^^

GOOD:
- Feels lightweight on your face
- Handy for touch ups when you need to reapply throughout the day when you are outside
- Ideal for those who wear makeup without having to reapply a pact/powder/foundation or remove make-up and redo base makeup

- The spray nozzle sprays a fine even mist over your entire face
- Protects my skin from the strong UV rays even on really sunny days my skin doesn't turn red

BAD:
- Has a strong 'sunscreen' scent
- Can feel oily and sticky after a few hours of application

OVERALL_______________________________________________________________

Duration of use: 2 months
Application: Mist formula
Packaging: 4/5
Texture: 3.5/5
Formula: 3.5/5
Fragrance: 2/5
RATING: 3/5

Other Comments:
This is my first time trying a mist type sunscreen although it would make more sense because you are meant to reapply sunscreen every 3 hours or so and when I have make-up on a mist would be the most suitable thing, I like the spray nozzle part of the packaging however I'm not a huge fan of the design (though some may disagree with me), the texture is lightweight when you first apply it but your face can get oily quite quickly within a few hours especially now since the weather is hot and humid and it also has a strong sunscreen scent even though it's less slightly bang in your face and more perfumed and sweet you can still definitely smell the sunscreen scent there

WHO WOULD I RECOMMEND TO? ____________________________________________
Those who have dry skin and/or don't live in a humid weather where you will be sweating a lot

Would I repurchase: No I will look for other mist types of sunscreen, but it would be a fairly nice sunscreen to use during winter

Mini Haul: DHC, Innisfree, Etude House, Clio ~
So I have been on a mission to save up some money and not spend as much money on makeup or cosmetics or things in general & decided to use up some stuff that I currently have, so I have set myself a project 20 ban, where I have to use up 20 products before I can buy any other makeup, I kind of broke the rule because I did buy other skincare stuff but that was only because I needed it

This is a collective haul throughout the last 3 months of things I have bought

ETUDE HOUSE:___________________________________________________________
Etude House Face Conditioning Cream Light ~ $14.98 USD from HERE

I have heard many people talk about the original before but it had received a lot of negative feedback so I never went to purchase it but apparently the light version had all the rave and is meant to be more suitable for those with oily/combination skin

INNISFREE:_____________________________________________________________
Innisfree Long Wear BB Cushion #23 True Beige ~ $22.50 from HERE

I am OBSESSED with BB cushions and so I wanted to try this one out as well since this is meant to be more summer and oily skin suitable as well & I have heard the coverage is much better than a lot of BB cushions out there ~ I actually saw this in one of Pony's videos on YouTube and bought it straight away ~ keke ~

DHC:___________________________________________________________________

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 200ml  ~ £21.50 from BEAUTYMART TOPSHOP, OXFORD STREET

I bought this after watching episode 18 of Get it Beauty and this was in the top 5 range, it ranked #5 amongst Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil (Moisture), Neutrogena Cleansing Oil which I had bought last year and though I did not do a review I would say I love that cleansing oil a lot, and is comparable to the Shu Uemura one I have tried before, Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil and Innisfree Juicy Apple Cleansing Oil, I purely picked this up because I went into London and they sell this at the beautymart counter in Topshop, Oxford Street and it was Yoo In Na's favourite (I'm a long time fan of hers keke~)

DHC Revitalising Moisture Strips (Eyes) ~ £8.50 from BEAUTYMART TOPSHOP, OXFORD STREET

My dark circles underneath my eyes are getting significantly worse and has also been getting dry ~ I don't want any wrinkles yet T_T so I thought these might help, I also picked these up in London

CLIO:__________________________________________________________________ CLIO Professional Kill Cover Realest Wear Moist Foundation ~ $38.50 from TWOFACEMALL

I had done my Clio shopping quite a while ago around 3 months ago but decided to show you what I have bought anyways ~ this line does come with another formula which I believe is more suitable for oily skin & is more long wearing but I opted for the realest wear moist instead since I wanted that healthy dewy glow on my skin rather than a matte finish

CLIO Professional Kill Cover Pearlfection Wear Sheer Blenders ~ $40.20 from TWOFACEMALL

#1 Sheer Champagne, #2 Sheer Apricot, #3 Sheer Yellow, #4 Sheer Tan
(from left to right)

I bought these again because I wanted to mix these in with foundations, #1 is more of the standard ones and a lot of luminators are similar to this shade, it can also be used as a highlighter underneath or on top of foundation similar to the benefit high beam, #2 is more of a blush colour, you can mix this in with foundation to make it more pink based to give you a rosy glow or be used as a blusher underneath or on top of the foundation, #3 is a yellow based illuminator and can mainly be used to mix in foundation or as a primer to counteract dullness on the skin, #4 is a sheer tan colour which can be used as a liquid bronzer or contour and alternatively be mixed in with your foundation to create a more tanned sunkiss glow naturally

I have also got a few more items such as the Innisfree Creamy Mousse lip tints but I have lost the packaging to them so there wasn't really much point doing a haul on them and also the Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion but an upcoming review will be up soon for that ~

Take Care ~ ♥

REVIEW: Etude House AC Daily Gel Lotion ~
Back in one of my previous hauls I have hauled this item but because I have a ton of moisturizers already, I didn't want to open this up back then. I had finally finished majority of my moisturizers and decided to use this.
I was gifted this from my cousin as a present when she went to Hong Kong because back then I was suffering quite a lot with acne and of course she may have asked the assistants working there or read somewhere online that this was a good product, I certainly have heard a lot of hype about this product but never thought to try it out until now ~

The packaging looks like a toner and the green glass looks really cute on my vanity ^o^ ~

Some English translations and information/directions on the product, makes it more useful for international users ~

& ofc Korean descriptions and information as well ~

INFORMATION/CLAIMS:
Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress. AC Clinic delivers trouble care. Skin Lotion maintains oil and moisture balance to supply trouble care and prevention.

DIRECTIONS_______________________________________________________
Apply the lotion on skin from the center of the face to the outside, after using toner

CAUTION__________________________________________________________
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.

[Vol.] 150 ml (5.07 fl. oz)

This moisturizer is meant to be targeted for those who have acne or blemishes on your skin, more recommend for those with oily/combination skin, since it DOES CONTAIN ALCOHOL AND SALICYLIC ACID and those with dry skin may experience it to dry out your skin even further which we all know isn't good at all ~

The packaging is quite cute, it looks quite medical lol, that's probably because of the green colour but anyhow apart from that I don't really like the packaging... this product has no pump O___O SAY WHAT!? so we have to pour out the product which is quite difficult especially when you first use it for the first few times and then once thats done you pour out too much that is needed for your skin :|

The manufactured date should be at the bottom ~ the reason why mine is produced in 2012 is because I have had this for quite a long time now ~

On a good note though this does come in 150ml which is plenty amount of product compared to a lot of moisturizers and creams which are only 50ml, and considering the price this is great for it's value.

I believe all of the Etude House AC line contains alcohol, I have only tried their pink powder spot, the trial size of their pink powder water and their red spot balm, but I would think that their toner and other products may have it as well, anyhow, I would suggest checking your current cleanser, toner, serum/essence and other products you use if they contain alcohol in them already because too much would dry out your skin too much and be too harsh.
I tried using this with my Dior Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum and it was way too harsh that I ended up getting 3 new spots on my face T__T ~

Before application of lotion ~
Poured out the gel on my hand, I had to wipe off some excess because I had poured out too much

Spreading the lotion around the surface of my hand ~ the lotion seems very thick when you pour it out but once you started spreading it apart it turns very watery and lightweight ~

After the lotion has fully absorbed into the skin, it will feel softer and smoother but not significantly glowy that being said the finish isn't matte either and will NOT keep your skin looking matte throughout the day  >__<

The texture is of a gel type, but it is surprisingly quite hydrating, if you have normal skin or dry skin this may work well for you as well.
A lot of lotions/moisturizers I have tried previously that are marketed towards those who have acne usually have a matte finish rather than a glowy finish and don't really hydrate your skin at all.

Consistency test on the gel ~

INGREDIENTS:

WATER, ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, BETAINE, DIMETHICONE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, SALICYLIC ACID, CHAMAECYPARIS OBTUSA LEAF EXTRACT, GLYCOPROTEINS, AESCULUS HIPPOCASTANUM (HORSE CHESTNUT) SEED EXTRACT, SAUPURUS CHINENSIS EXTRACT, CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA (LAVENDER) EXTRACT, ALTHAEA OFFICINALIS ROOT EXTRACT, ANTHEMIS NOBILIS FLOWER EXTRACT, LIPPIA CITRIODORA LEAF EXTRACT, AMPELOPSIS JAPONICA ROOT EXTRACT, CARICA PAPAYA (PAPAYA) FRUIT EXTRACT, ALLIUM CEPA (ONION) BULB EXTRACT, ALLIUM SATIVUM (GARLIC) BULB EXTRACT, MANNITOL, AMMONIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE, ZINC GLUCONATE, CAFFEINE, DIMETHICONOL, OCTYLDODECETH-16, POLYACRYLATE-13, DIMETHICONE/PEG-10/15 CROSSPOLYMER, AMMONIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE/VP COPOLYMER, POLYISOBUTENE, CARBOMER, POLYSORBATE 20, ETHYLHEXYGLYCERIN, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, FRAGRANCE.

GOOD:
- Lightweight and non greasy feeling
- Hydrates acne/oily with the right amount of moisture
- Smells fresh
- Haven't broken out whilst using it yet
- Good value for the price you pay for
- Dries out the spot quicker making it heal faster

CONS:
- No pump on the packaging means you would need to pour it out yourself & may pour out too much product
- Glass packaging means you can't travel around with it conveniently
- Takes a while to absorb into your skin
- Would be too harsh if used everyday because of the alcohol and salicylic acid used

OVERALL:

Fragrance: 3.5/5 (it's definitely fragranced, it smells quite herbal with a hint of sweet and floral in it as well... I'm quite bad at describing scents but all in all this doesn't smell bad like some acne lines I have tried, it doesn't smell of tea tree or too overly herbal or medical but it smells fresh in a way)
Texture: 3/5
Hydration: 3/5
Acne Control: 3.5/5
Duration of use: 1 month 2 weeks
Application: 3.5/5
Packaging: 3/5

Overall: 3/5

Other Comments:
Though the gel texture makes it lightweight on the skin I did find this to be hydrating enough which actually can be a good and a bad thing, good because it won't dry out your skin which could cause further problems to arise on your skin and bad because during the summer time my skin will get quite oily when using this.
Furthermore, the packaging of the product really doesn't help at all since it's hard to control the amount of product.

WHO WOULD I RECOMMEND TO?____________________________________________
To those of you who have combination leaning more towards normal/dry skin that has problems with acne/blemishes.

Would I Repurchase: No

Have a nice day ~ ♥
