ETUDE HOUSE FACE CONDITIONING CREAM LIGHT SPF 25/PA ++
This is a quick and easy make-up boosting cream that smoothly conditions skin with its light and soft texture for a makeup-ready complexion
[DIRECTION] after applying toner, spread a certain amount of Face conditioning cream light evenly onto face
2.54 oz / 75g
- Etude House, Korea
SORRY THE INGREDIENTS LIST TURNED OUT BLURRY >_<" & I ALREADY THREW AWAY THE PACKAGING A WHILE AGO T_T ~
But the actual product... the texture is quite dry which is understandable because this is the 'light' version & it's meant to be better for oily/combination skin which is the skin type I have.
When I first got this I purely used it as a primer because I have loads of moisturizers already & I prefer a more hydrating moisturizer... however, this as a primer made my makeup melt off even quicker and left it going blotchy which I never had any problems with my hourglass primer and touch in sol...
Then I used it on days as just a sunscreen without any makeup but it left my skin feeling quite suffocated and broke me out the next day to these little pimples around my jaw and side of my nose -.- So I used it as a moisturizer because I saw people use that but it left my skin feeling too dry and tight ~
it's basically like a light cream/emulsion milk texture which isn't sticky or runny, it has a slight powdery/matte finish texture to it though
GOOD:
- Lightweight good for those who want a matte skin all day long
- Gives an instant brightening/whitening effect
- Squeezable tube so you can get all the product out
- Inexpensive
- Cute design on packaging
CONS:
- Formula too dry
- Leaves a powdery finish after a few hours of application (if no makeup is applied after)
- Not moisturizing enough as a moisturizer, doesn't work on it's own as a sunscreen, doesn't make my makeup last any longer as a primer
- Cheap packaging
- Overpowering perfume scent which STAYS on your skin for ages

This product has a very heavily scented perfume smell to it which can be very irritating to those with sensitive skin ~ I don't usually break out due to scented products but I did find everytime I used this I had those very tiny pimples seeping through my skin ~ GRRR
WHO WOULD I RECOMMEND TO?___________________________________________
those who have really really oily skin which isn't acne prone or have sensitive skin and can stand the overpowering perfume fragrance, LITERALLY this is like perfume in a face cream form -.-

Of course I didn't just buy it for it's pretty and cute design though, the concept of this did catch my eye, it's a gel that you are meant to use for 7 days straight for 1 month and you only use this for 7 days once a month that is, so in total it would last you around 3 months
I believe you can use this day & night especially if you have really dry skin and if your skin tends to be flakey and peeling when you apply on make-up ~ but I only use this at night time since in the morning it would be too much for my skin ~
This gel is leaned for those who have more normal/dry/very dry skin and even though my skin is pretty much the opposite, I have oily/combination skin during summer time, my skin gets really dehydrated, Also it is meant to brighten and clarify the skin as well which is something I lack in ~ furthermore Etude House has posted their own little check list as to whether or not you would think this is suitable for your skin
CHECK LIST
1) Bed time is irregular
2) I feel sleeping time is not enough all the time
3) I eat instant food/junk food up to or more than 3-4 times a week
4) I use the computer for more than 4 hours a day
5)I often feel indigestion
6) Make-up does not fit or sit well on my skin
7) My skin doesn't improve anymore even though I use expensive high end cosmetics
8) I hardly eat any vegetables that contain vitamins & chlorophyll
9) I often drink processed beverages e.g. soda
10) Do people around you ask "are you tired" a lot?
if you are related to more than 5 of the things above on the checklist it means your skin feels tired
- Etude House, KOREA
For me I have checked around 5-6 of the check list above including 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and also to an extent 7 as well since I find my skin could improve a little bit :( all in all my skin is lacking in luminosity rather than dryness ~
The main magical ingredients in this product is carbonic acid and lemon extract with vitamin C to help moisturize and making the skin look more clear and brighter ~
Carbonic Acid Massage Effect
Carbonic Acid melted in the transparent gel cream takes care of your skin clearly through massage effect
Lemon Extract with Vitamin C
Yellow lemon extract beads with rich vitamic make the skin completed softly by helping the turnover of dead skin cells
[DIRECTIONS]
- Use this item for 1 week intensively when your skin look tired & exhausted
- Spread it on the face & neck fully with inserted spatula in the morning & evening instead of Toner, Essence, Cream etc
Despite I only used this at night I stuck with the regime of using this for 7 days straight, using the spatula I took out about 6-7 scoops of the product which was just the right amount to get through each day ~
TADA!!! completely absorbed in and skin looks more softer and brighter and glowing too ~
I guess in the mean time you can do facial massages on your face to stimulate blood flow, get rid of toxins build up & to slim the face too
I forgot to mention you can use this just on it's own as it is meant to be an 'all in one' gel, so after you have cleaned and toned you can use this straight up, I had used this with my serums and my eye cream as well which may also be the leading factor as to why it took that long to absorb into my skin
GOOD:
- Hydrates your skin really well
- Made my skin significantly smoother & softer after the 7 days of use
- Added more glow and luminosity to my skin
- Skin looks less tired
- Hasn't broken me out
- Smells really nice
- Has a cooling sensation when you are massaging your skin
- A simple all in one gel meaning no need for extra serum, essence, lotion, eye cream and etc
CONS:
- Takes a long time to fully absorb into the skin
- Feels really sticky whilst applying it on but goes away once it's absorbed
- Haven't noticed my skin tone becoming more clarified and transparent

I gave it a 3.8 because I like it a bit more than 3.5 & I would most likely repurchase this when my 3 months are up especially during the winter time but I can't give t a 4 yet just because I have only used it for my first month so far & also I really don't like the sticky texture whilst I am applying it onto my face >_<"

I was gifted this from my cousin as a present when she went to Hong Kong because back then I was suffering quite a lot with acne and of course she may have asked the assistants working there or read somewhere online that this was a good product, I certainly have heard a lot of hype about this product but never thought to try it out until now ~
INFORMATION/CLAIMS:
Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress. AC Clinic delivers trouble care. Skin Lotion maintains oil and moisture balance to supply trouble care and prevention.
DIRECTIONS_______________________________________________________
Apply the lotion on skin from the center of the face to the outside, after using toner
CAUTION__________________________________________________________
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.
[Vol.] 150 ml (5.07 fl. oz)
This moisturizer is meant to be targeted for those who have acne or blemishes on your skin, more recommend for those with oily/combination skin, since it DOES CONTAIN ALCOHOL AND SALICYLIC ACID and those with dry skin may experience it to dry out your skin even further which we all know isn't good at all ~
On a good note though this does come in 150ml which is plenty amount of product compared to a lot of moisturizers and creams which are only 50ml, and considering the price this is great for it's value.
I believe all of the Etude House AC line contains alcohol, I have only tried their pink powder spot, the trial size of their pink powder water and their red spot balm, but I would think that their toner and other products may have it as well, anyhow, I would suggest checking your current cleanser, toner, serum/essence and other products you use if they contain alcohol in them already because too much would dry out your skin too much and be too harsh.
I tried using this with my Dior Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum and it was way too harsh that I ended up getting 3 new spots on my face T__T ~
Spreading the lotion around the surface of my hand ~ the lotion seems very thick when you pour it out but once you started spreading it apart it turns very watery and lightweight ~
The texture is of a gel type, but it is surprisingly quite hydrating, if you have normal skin or dry skin this may work well for you as well.
A lot of lotions/moisturizers I have tried previously that are marketed towards those who have acne usually have a matte finish rather than a glowy finish and don't really hydrate your skin at all.
INGREDIENTS:
WATER, ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, BETAINE, DIMETHICONE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, SALICYLIC ACID, CHAMAECYPARIS OBTUSA LEAF EXTRACT, GLYCOPROTEINS, AESCULUS HIPPOCASTANUM (HORSE CHESTNUT) SEED EXTRACT, SAUPURUS CHINENSIS EXTRACT, CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA (LAVENDER) EXTRACT, ALTHAEA OFFICINALIS ROOT EXTRACT, ANTHEMIS NOBILIS FLOWER EXTRACT, LIPPIA CITRIODORA LEAF EXTRACT, AMPELOPSIS JAPONICA ROOT EXTRACT, CARICA PAPAYA (PAPAYA) FRUIT EXTRACT, ALLIUM CEPA (ONION) BULB EXTRACT, ALLIUM SATIVUM (GARLIC) BULB EXTRACT, MANNITOL, AMMONIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE, ZINC GLUCONATE, CAFFEINE, DIMETHICONOL, OCTYLDODECETH-16, POLYACRYLATE-13, DIMETHICONE/PEG-10/15 CROSSPOLYMER, AMMONIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE/VP COPOLYMER, POLYISOBUTENE, CARBOMER, POLYSORBATE 20, ETHYLHEXYGLYCERIN, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, FRAGRANCE.
GOOD:
- Lightweight and non greasy feeling
- Hydrates acne/oily with the right amount of moisture
- Smells fresh
- Haven't broken out whilst using it yet
- Good value for the price you pay for
- Dries out the spot quicker making it heal faster
CONS:
- No pump on the packaging means you would need to pour it out yourself & may pour out too much product
- Glass packaging means you can't travel around with it conveniently
- Takes a while to absorb into your skin
- Would be too harsh if used everyday because of the alcohol and salicylic acid used
OVERALL:
Fragrance: 3.5/5 (it's definitely fragranced, it smells quite herbal with a hint of sweet and floral in it as well... I'm quite bad at describing scents but all in all this doesn't smell bad like some acne lines I have tried, it doesn't smell of tea tree or too overly herbal or medical but it smells fresh in a way)
Texture: 3/5
Hydration: 3/5
Acne Control: 3.5/5
Duration of use: 1 month 2 weeks
Application: 3.5/5
Packaging: 3/5
Overall: 3/5
Other Comments:
Though the gel texture makes it lightweight on the skin I did find this to be hydrating enough which actually can be a good and a bad thing, good because it won't dry out your skin which could cause further problems to arise on your skin and bad because during the summer time my skin will get quite oily when using this.
Furthermore, the packaging of the product really doesn't help at all since it's hard to control the amount of product.

Eye cream stick with a moisturizing, brightening and anti-wrinkle formula to promote youthful skin around the eyes.
English & Korean descriptions & ingredients list ~ thumbs up for Etude House ~
Unlike other eye creams which I have tried that usually comes in a pot or a tube this one is a swivel stick so it's much more hygenic I find? but then again you will still need to use your fingers to pat it in ~
rather than a 'cream' it's much lighter, it's definitely more of a gel formula...
But the gel formula is still quite hydrating for younger skin or for people who don't suffer with wrinkles, fine lines or dry skin around the eyes ~
[DIRECTIONS] Twist to dispense, apply to lower eye-lids by using stick to gently massage around the eyes. Use fingers to gently pat cream into skin.

Overall Comments:
I have no idea whether it's because I'm so used to cream type eye creams or because this formula really isn't all that hydrating, because this doesn't exactly moisturize my under eyes that well, it gives very little moisture.
Also this stick comes with 6.5g of product which is a lot less than the 30ml pots I suppose? but I found this eye cream went down really quickly, you can see I have almost used up the whole thing like 3/4 of the product, bare in mind this is all within less than 2 months of use. I think one of the main reasons why it's going down so much is because I find myself having to use a lot of this to get the hydration I want but even then it's not exactly the most hydrating eye cream I have used.
They label this as being 'vanilla' so I was expecting it to be a vanilla type scent but it's got a very weird under tone to it, I can still smell the hint of vanilla but then there's this orange/citrus spice that is trying to overpower it and I ABSOLUTELY HATE this scent >.< ~
This eye cream is CHEAP and of course you do get what you pay for, and for those who don't have dry skin underneath the eyes you might like this one because it's lightweight and provides little amount of moisture and plus it's a gel type so you won't be getting milia around the eyes as some of you might worry with a heavier eye cream.
On another note, I do find this eye cream to be good to refresh eye makeup on the lower eyelid throughout the day, just swirl it around your middle or ring finger and dap it underneath the eyes and this should freshen up and moisturize any concealer, eyeshadows and etc from creasing and seeping into any lines or cracking.
Would I Repurchase: NO!

But I will try my best and blog the most I can during the Christmas holidays ^^ ~ some of the products I have promised to do reviews unfortunately I have already used them up so I can not show you them in a review, however I can still tell you if I like them or not if you are curious about them
One of the products that I have probably been using consistently is the Etude House I'm Blooming Sebum Control Mist ~ as I have been using it to set my makeup every time I go to college so I don't end up looking like a greaseball
I must say my skin type has changed from the last time I posted, it is more normal-combination now with dry flakes here and there so this mist doesn't exactly provide what I need, however, because I wear quite dewy foundations on a daily basis I think this does come in handy for people with combination skin and doesn't want their T-zone to look like a oily mess by the end of the day
Honestly though, I only picked this up because it said 'sebum control', I have always been curious to try out the skindinavia or the urban decay makeup setting sprays but they are too expensive for my budget and I would have to order them online as I don't have a urban decay counter near me, so I can't compare how this is compared to it
- This sebum control mist thoroughly hydrates thirsty skin while controlling oil and shine, providing soft powdery skin.
- With ingredients that strengthen skin's natural vitality, this mist helps maintain fresh, blooming, healthy skin.
- Contains 95.9% of early summer green tea extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) that balances out skin's moisture level for a moist inside with a soft powdery outside.
- Etude House
[DIRECTIONS]
Frequently spray evenly onto face whenever skin care is needed
*leave at least a 20cm distance from face when spraying
It comes in 150ml bottle ~ which is quite a lot
IT CONTAINS GREEN TEA! *O* there must be something wrong with me because I love everything green tea... drinks, food, and even skincare items o.O
It's all Natural & Organic too!
[INGREDIENTS]Fragrance: 5/5
CAMELLIA SINESIS LEAF EXTRACT, SAUSSUREA INVOLUCRATA EXTRACT, LEONTOPODIUM ALPINUM FLOWER/LEAF EXTRACT, JASMINUM OFFICINALE (JASMINE) FLOWER EXTRACT, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) BUD EXTRACT, BETULA ALBA BUD EXTRACT, CORYLUS AVELLANA (HAZEL) BUD EXTRACT, RIBES NIGRUM (BLACK CURRANT) LEAF EXTRACT, JUGLANS REGIA (WALNUT) LEAF EXTRACT, CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT, XYLITOL, GLYCERIN, MALTODEXTRIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, DISODIUM EDTA, PHENOXYETHANOL
Oil/Sebum Control: 2.5/5
Pro longing makeup wear: 4/5
Results: 4/5
Overall comments:
For the price you are paying for, it is quite a good face mist. However, I definitely don't think it's the best. The scent of this product is very light and subtle which I like as I don't want to feel like I am applying a fine mist of perfume all over my face... who would want that right?
But the only problem with this product is what it claims to do... it says it's 'sebum controlling' though I find that the sebum controlling for even my combination skin now is lacking. Please do bare in mind I usually only spray this onto my skin probably maximum twice a day which is right after I finished applying my makeup and once in college when I feel like it. In the UK not many people use face mists often or well at least not my college friends so when I whip this out and spray it, they all think I'm some crazy lady XD imagine if I did that on the bus, train or anywhere else in public ~ If I applied this more frequently it might have worked better?
HOWEVER, even though this isn't the best oil controlling product ever, funnily I do fine it works to make my make-up last longer (base make-up wise) than if I was to not use it at all. Usually I wear makeup for around 10 hours in college and by that time my makeup has started to break down and melt off but with this it actually doesn't make my foundation break down into parts as much which is weird because even though it keeps my make-up in place, I would still get oily around some other places... :/ strange huh?
Furthermore, another con I don't like about this is that it doesn't come in a smaller bottle, I'm not sure if you can buy a little spray bottle seperately in stores like they do for the wonder pore freshener because I certainly didn't notice it, but I usually use the free mini travel spray that I got when I bought the skin malgem set :) which is much more convenient than bringing the whole big bottle around with you in your handbag XD ~
Would I Repurchase: No, I would probably try other brands and compare
Take care ~ ♥

When I first heard about Etude House opening in Hong Kong I was over the moon, well because I go there for holiday a lot, well not a lot but every 3 years but I might be planning to go back in 2 years time when I have money ~ and I know in Korea it's probably a lot cheaper but I am not going to Korea anytime soon unfortunately T_T so Hong Kong will have to do ~ *why can't England have a Etude House :'(*
Anyways, rant over ~ I went to two different stores in Mong Kok ~ The first one I went to was right next to Ladie's Market whilst the other store is at the other end near where Innisfree is, unfortunately I didn't take my camera with me so I didn't get any pictures of the stores or inside them (if we were even allowed to take pictures :/) But I wouldn't have had time anyways because I was too busy shopping and both of my hands were full of shopping bags haha XD
Now onto the actual products ~ I just want to put out a disclaimer that YES I DID SPEND A LOT and I know I did, I also feel kind of guilty for spending this much on one place ~ but I didn't spend them all at once, it was accumulated during my stay in Hong Kong and I do share a lot of my cosmetics like sheet masks and stuff with my mum and some make-up items with friends as well so it's all good ~all prices listing will be in HKD $ As well ~
