Hong Kong Haul Pt 4: Sasa ~
Of course, I couldn't have not went into a SaSa store whilst I was at Hong Kong ~ That is like the #1 beauty store to go to for cosmetics and health supplies! ~ I went to the store located in Jordan, and probably because of the time of day I went there wasn't actually that many people there so I was able to shop around freely and ask for some help from the girls who work there ~ If I had went to a store in Mong Kok or Tsim Sha Tsui I am sure it would have been a lot lot busier ~ >.<
I actually spent a lot in that store, and thankfully my mum helped me pay for some of these items BUT majority, probably around 75-80% of those items were for my friends and families in which they have either asked me to buy for them or they were gifts ~ the rest are mine and my mum's to use XD

Review: Ettusais medicated acne whitening UV EX (dry block)
I was given this sunscreen by my cousin a few months ago to try out, unfortunately I threw away the packaging that it came in so I can't tell you exactly what ingredients it contains ~ Ettusais is a Japanese cosmetic brand, actually before trying this sunscreen I have never heard of Ettusais before, but then again I'm not really familiar with Japanese brands in general but hopefully I will get to try more this year

The sunscreen comes in two different formulas, an oil block version and this one, a dry block formula. The oil block is an oil-free type made specifically for those with oily/combination skin that is acne prone whilst the dry block version is for dry skin types that is acne prone.
I have never tried the oil block version so I can't really compare the two for you, but before I used this product I did some research on it and majority of the reviews that came up were for the oil block formula, so I'm taking a guess that one may be more popular? so if you have oily skin, those other reviews by other bloggers might help you out more.

It also acts as a make-up base and a sun protector at the same time, but I still apply my primer under my foundation/BB cream because I find this sunscreen to be not moisturizing enough even with a moisturizer underneath this or on top and baring in mind I don't have incredibly dry skin either.
The sunscreen also comes out as a white thick cream, you are only meant to use a pearl sized amount all over your face and neck though otherwise you will look like a ghost face and no body wants to look like that ^^
I prefer patting this sunscreen onto my skin until it has fully absorbed because I find it goes on more evenly than when I rub it into my skin because of it's thick texture.
You can look a little bit pale at first when you put this on but after about 5-10 minutes the white cast will fade away ~
Fragrance: 5/5 there isn't really a scent to it

Overall:
I like that this sunscreen doesn't have a distinct fragrance or at least it's not like a perfume scent which makes it good for my sensitive skin and didn't give me further break outs but the oil control it claims to have on the packaging isn't that great, it lasts for about 4 hours before my T-zone starts to get oily again, maybe the oil block formula will be better at oil control.
Furthermore, because I was gifted this product by my cousin I don't know the exact price of it, but according to Ebay it is USD $43 which I'm not sure how much it is in other currencies but in England it's approximately £27-29, that's probably more than the retail price in Japan but unless you live there/visit there we will have to pay more for shipping costs and etc.
That price I wouldn't say is the most expensive sunscreen out there but it's definitely not a affordable price that everyone will be willing to pay for, especially you only get 35g of product inside whilst other sunscreen usually comes with 40-50g/ml.
Would I repurchase: No, although I did find it to work at preventing break outs, I want to try something else for a more affordable price unless I go to Asia and pick it up in store.
