Review: Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream ~
I'm back with another skincare review, as some of you may have seen I have hauled this item back a few months ago in my cosmetic-love haul and having tried this product out for a few months now I have come back with my opinion on what I think of this product.

I only started using eye cream the past year as I never found the need to, but recently my eyes have been feeling really dry and dehydrated, I heard a lot of good things about Estee Lauder eye creams and the previous one I owned was good but it was a bit too rich for me and plus I couldn't afford to constantly repurchase it every 5-6 months. That's when I decided to try out Skinfood eye creams as I have heard many good things about them as well.

 Information in Hangul ~

Information about product in English ^^ ~

Details:
Containing arbutin and the extracts of Omega 3-rich salmon roe produced in Hokkaido Japan, this eye cream brightens and relieves dark circles around the eyes.
TO USE:
After using the toner, apply an appropriate amount around your eyes, and tap the area lightly to help the skin absorb it.

I wouldn't say my dark circles are bad but you can see some shadows on my under eyes and I wanted to eliminate them or make them less visible.

I must say, I love the packaging of all Skinfood items, I like the earthly design on them, it's different to many of the brands which seems to either go for the simple and sleek design or the cute concept.
This eye cream also comes in 30g which is quite a lot as most eye creams I have come across come in mainly 15g or 20g.

The eye cream itself is a white colour with a hint of salmon/pink which I suppose helps with brightening up the under eye circles/eye bags.

Looks thick and creamy right? ~

But it's actually quite a thin texture when rubbed out ^^ ~

Although the cream looks quite thick in the jar and when you get the product out but when you start to spread out the cream, it thins out and feels quite watery and light weight. Because of this you would only need a tiny amount as a little goes a long way.

Before (left side) and After (right side), as you can see in the image there is a slight brightening/whitening effect on the right side compared to the left side ^^

It does take a while to sink in, and so if you apply more than you need it will take even longer which may not be practical if you are in a rush in the morning to get ready for school/work.

Fragrance: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Effect: 2.5/5

Overall:
The Eye cream did a considerably good job at hydrating my eyes, it didn't leave me with milia either which I found the Estee Lauder I used previously did clog up some of my pores near my eyes.
I think if you need slight hydration but not anything too extortionate then this will provide you the right amount of moisture.
However, Even though you can see a slight whitening/illuminating effect when you once apply it on, I didn't find the claim to brighten up my eyes to be that effective in the long run (permanently get rid of the shadows underneath my eyes), maybe because I don't have really bad dark circles but I didn't see much of a difference before and after I had used this.

Would I Repurchase: No, I would probably go onto try some other eye cream by Skinfood.

Take Care ~ ♥
