Hong Kong Haul pt 5 (Last Edition): SKINFOOD, ColourMix, Bonjour, Mannings & Watsons
So we have finally come to an end of my extremely long haul ~ I decided to combine this haul with various different items from other brands that I have bought here and there at different shops which were Skinfood, Colourmix, Bonjour, Mannings and Watsons, but I didn't get enough to make one dedicated blogpost on each store so I thought I would combine them together ~

check out my other haul posts as well ^^, Etude House, Laneige, TonyMoly, SaSa

SKINFOOD Black Sugar Deep Cleansing Cream
~ $185

SKINFOOD Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
~ $165
I wasn't actually going to buy this but the girl working there kind of pushed me into purchasing this and I knew I couldn't get out if I didn't -.-

DewyTree Deep Detox Black Mask  (x 4)
~ $119.60
I used one already hence why I only have 3 in this image

Faith In Face Pore Tightening Miss Invisible Pore Hydrogel Mask
~ $69.90
I heard a lot of things about these masks from South Korean Bloggers

DewyTree Snail Vitalising Mask Sheet ( x 10)
~ $118 I think :/
I actually lost the receipt for this so I am not sure, it's either $118 or $180 for 10, I gave one for my mum to try out because she wanted to try 'snail' products haha XD these were also on promotion in Mannings when I went to buy them ~ they were having a buy 1 get 1 free (1+1) sale ^^

Dream Skin Element 100 Snail Serum Premium
~ I can't remember the price as I lost the receipt
This was from Mannings and doesn't the packaging remind you of another brand? it reminded me of it's skin so I quickly took out my phone and used wi-fi to search about this 'Dream Skin' brand and found out this is the same brand as 'it's skin' just renamed differently? I believe only in South Korea it's called 'it's skin' whilst elsewhere in Asia it's called 'dream skin', correct me if I am wrong...

Cure Natural Aqua Gel
~ $280
I, of course had to try this, this has been talked about SOOOOO much!

Lioele Auto Eyebrow Pencil
~ I lost my receipt but this wasn't too expensive I believe

The Face Shop Aura Color Control (CC) Cream SPF30/PA++
~ $200 I think?
I also lost the receipt to this

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil
~ I can't remember the price
I wasn't actually going to buy this but I bought this at the airport because I needed a make-up remover and yes I do like to wash my face on the airplane haha XD I know most people would chose to use cleansing waters, but personally I am not a huge fan of them

That's it for the final haul post ^^ ~ I know it's a lot or too much products but I am a mask junkie and skin care junkie ~ a lot of the items are back ups of my current ones and others are new for me to try out ~ I will use every last drop of all these items even if I don't like them, just like how I am with my current ones now so don't worry I won't waste anything ~

Also on a side note there may be a few items missing ~ because I honestly can't remember where some of the things have gone XD if I ever find them and try them out I will review them as well ~

Review: Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream ~
I'm back with another skincare review, as some of you may have seen I have hauled this item back a few months ago in my cosmetic-love haul and having tried this product out for a few months now I have come back with my opinion on what I think of this product.

I only started using eye cream the past year as I never found the need to, but recently my eyes have been feeling really dry and dehydrated, I heard a lot of good things about Estee Lauder eye creams and the previous one I owned was good but it was a bit too rich for me and plus I couldn't afford to constantly repurchase it every 5-6 months. That's when I decided to try out Skinfood eye creams as I have heard many good things about them as well.

 Information in Hangul ~

Information about product in English ^^ ~

Details:
Containing arbutin and the extracts of Omega 3-rich salmon roe produced in Hokkaido Japan, this eye cream brightens and relieves dark circles around the eyes.
TO USE:
After using the toner, apply an appropriate amount around your eyes, and tap the area lightly to help the skin absorb it.

I wouldn't say my dark circles are bad but you can see some shadows on my under eyes and I wanted to eliminate them or make them less visible.

I must say, I love the packaging of all Skinfood items, I like the earthly design on them, it's different to many of the brands which seems to either go for the simple and sleek design or the cute concept.
This eye cream also comes in 30g which is quite a lot as most eye creams I have come across come in mainly 15g or 20g.

The eye cream itself is a white colour with a hint of salmon/pink which I suppose helps with brightening up the under eye circles/eye bags.

Looks thick and creamy right? ~

But it's actually quite a thin texture when rubbed out ^^ ~

Although the cream looks quite thick in the jar and when you get the product out but when you start to spread out the cream, it thins out and feels quite watery and light weight. Because of this you would only need a tiny amount as a little goes a long way.

Before (left side) and After (right side), as you can see in the image there is a slight brightening/whitening effect on the right side compared to the left side ^^

It does take a while to sink in, and so if you apply more than you need it will take even longer which may not be practical if you are in a rush in the morning to get ready for school/work.

Fragrance: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Effect: 2.5/5

Overall:
The Eye cream did a considerably good job at hydrating my eyes, it didn't leave me with milia either which I found the Estee Lauder I used previously did clog up some of my pores near my eyes.
I think if you need slight hydration but not anything too extortionate then this will provide you the right amount of moisture.
However, Even though you can see a slight whitening/illuminating effect when you once apply it on, I didn't find the claim to brighten up my eyes to be that effective in the long run (permanently get rid of the shadows underneath my eyes), maybe because I don't have really bad dark circles but I didn't see much of a difference before and after I had used this.

Would I Repurchase: No, I would probably go onto try some other eye cream by Skinfood.

Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off ~
Today, I will be reviewing the highly raved about SkinFood exfoliator, the black sugar mask wash off. This product has been released for a good few years and when it first came out up until now, this has been one of the best sellers from SkinFood and had received so many praises from the customers who have tried it, so off course being a skin care junkie and a lover of SkinFood cosmetics, especially their skincare items, I had to try this out ~

"Black sugar mask with rich minerals and vitamins to provide luster and smoothness to skin."

One thing I like about the packaging from SkinFood is that they come with English description information as well as Hangul, so those who do not know Hangul/Korean can still be able to understand the instructions and purposes of the product.

Now onto the actual product, now I must say, it might not be the most appealing to look like. It comes in a slushy brown sugary texture, it basically looks a lot like black sugar mixed in with goo and liquid. The smell can also be a huge problem, it's a very strong scent and not everyone will be guaranteed to like it.
I personally, don't mind the scent all that, it smells like a blend of sweetness with a touch of sour and a lot of salt? as weird and nasty as that combination sounds, it didn't really bother me. Although, it's strong it still smells naturalish and not too artificial-perfume-like.
I find with a lot of exfoliators and scrubs that I have used in the past to be too abbrasive on my skin or the particals are too sharp and big that it literally hurts whenever I try to massage my face, but with this product I find the particles to be the perfect size, small and fine. This actually feels like applying a sugar scrub and effectively takes away the layer of dead skin, my skin feels baby soft after using this. Also, the more you massage the exfoliator into your face, the product becomes less abbrasive and the starts to melt away so your left with a liquid texture.
On a side note, Although the particles aren't sharp or big the scrub can be quite harsh, especially those with really sensitive skin.

before using the exfoliator on my hand, you can see some rough flaky dry bits ~

taking some product out with a spatula ~

massage massage massage ~

rinse off, and now my skin feels smoother ~ majority of flaky skin... gone! ^^

Fragrance: 3.5/5
Price: 5/5
Effects: 4/5

Overall:
Yet another outstanding product from Skinfood, I really like this exfoliator. Before this I have never tried any black sugar scrubs, but after trying this one I really want to purchase some other ones to compare, especially the klair's one. This exfoliator didn't leave my skin tight or dry once I used it either, unlike a lot of scrubs/exfoliators I have tried, almost all of them stripped all the moisture in my skin off.
However, with this one my skin still felt moisturized which I particularly like. The only thing I dislike though is that the results don't last that long, once you wake up in the morning your skin won't feel as soft, but then again for the price your paying for, you can't be expecting permanent results.

To Use: After cleansing, gently massage over wet face. Avoid eye area. Rinse off.

INGREDIENTS: SUCROSE, PEG-7 GLYCERYL COCOATE, GLYCERIN, EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX, MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA SEED OIL, LANOLIN CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, CETYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, STEARALJONIUM HECTORITE, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER), LIMNANTHES ALBA (MEADOWFOAM) SEED OIL, SORBITAN LAURATE, BUTYLPARABEN, BHT, CARAMEL, PARFUM

Cosmetic-Love Haul ~
So recently I have been spending a LOT of money >.< (guess it's time to save up this month) but I just finished a lot of my skincare products so I had decided to purchase some new items to try out from cosmetic-love ^^ ~

Here's what I got altogether (a lot of them were samples though)
[Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in RD301 Red]
I bought this because everyone seems to hyping about lip tints and especially this colour and the peach one, but I don't really wear peach shades on my lips much so I went with the red which is apparently meant to be more like a raspberry red colour rather than a straight on red.
[Innisfree The green tea seed serum]
I've always wanted to try this but never got round to buying this, I first saw this product when I was streaming online to a Korean channel and saw Yoona on the CF for this product but it wasn't until I saw AhraMaBlog's YouTube video on her skincare routine had I really wanted to try this product out.
 [SkinFood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream]
I'm running low on my current Estee Lauder eye cream and I have always wanted to try SkinFood products so this was the perfect time for me to try this, It comes with quite a lot of product, more than my current Estee Lauder one, but I am excited to try this one.
[SkinFood Black Sugar Wash Off Mask]
(sorry this picture is quite blurry for some reason my camera wouldn't focus on this product) I heard a lot of Korean bloggers and vloggers talk about this product and how amazing it is as an exfoliator for the face so I decided to give this a try after I finish up my current exfoliator/scrub.

SAMPLES!
[CW CLINIC Fresh Lemon Mask Sheet, Missha Cleansing Tissue, Innisfree Olive Real Lotion, SkinFood Water Berry Gift Set, Skin79 BB Cleanser, SkinFood Agave Cactus Sun BB Cream SPF36 PA+++, Etude House BB Cream Bright Fit 02, NESURA Charcoal nose strip, SkinFood Egg White Pore Foam]
that's a lot of sample right? I was shocked about the amount of samples there was when I opened the parcel ^^ ~

That's all for my haul today ~ I will be doing some reviews on these products when I have tried them out, also I will be having a Gmarket haul coming soon as well when it arrives ~

take care ~ ♥
