REVIEW: 3CE [3 CONCEPT EYES] Waterful Glossing Foundation Review ~
So, some of you may be wondering where is my 'Hong Kong Haul' and yes, I will be blogging that so don't worry but I thought I would blog that later on since I feel like I have done a lot and a lot of hauls recently I should try and catch up with my reviews first...
So some of you might remember I bought a whole load of stuff from Stylenanda's make-up/cosmetic line, 3 concept eyes right? And before that I was looking around on their YouTube and saw them using this foundation on Park Sora ~ and I instantly thought 'oh that must be good!' ~ as I have already stated I am a foundation HOLIC or a foundation GEEK, so when I saw a foundation being used in their videos I knew I just had to have it ~

I honestly didn't know what was going through my mind when I was purchasing this because I have oily skin and well the heat and humidity + oily skin to begin with = bad combination
I must have gone crazy because it was from 3 concept eyes ~ and to no surprise this foundation doesn't have much coverage which I kind of guessed because of the name itself :/

"3 CONCEPT EYES WATERFUL GLOSSING FOUNDATION SPF15/PA+

Gel containing high level of of moist, it blends easily with your skin with no caked on effect and gives you a glossy, healthy looking face that is absolutely flawless"

     - STYLENANDA, 3CE

~
See how 'glowy' or 'watery' and creamy and the texture looks? ~
Adds a very subtle glow when you blend it out ~ but after a few hours it turns more glowy ~

This foundation gives off a very dewy or luminescent glow to your skin ~ I have tried other brands which make my skin dewy before but as the name suggests this really is more of a 'water glow effect' rather than it being 'shimmery glitter particles I am glowing like Edward Cullen effect' *cough* revlon *cough* ~
If you follow on with K-Beauty (Korean Beauty) trends or K-Pop and K-Dramas then you would have noticed that the actresses or idols all have that kind of 'glowing from within' or 'I just got out of a hot steamy bath/shower' type of skin look ~ this kind of makes your skin look like that ~ it's a very healthy glow but because I have oily skin and the weather just makes this product melt off my face within a few hours ~ maybe during the winter this will look nicer on me

Heart for all you kbeauty lovers and readers of my blog <3 ke ke ke ~
Apply an adequate amount of product ~ I applied a little bit too much just for the hand but oh well ~
When applied on top of the mark, looks like this foundation gives an alright coverage right? ~
Wrong! once you blend this product out whether you use your fingers, brush or sponge and whether you spread it out or pat it the coverage will be the same... which is like the image above... hardly any coverage. . . ~ ~

As I have also stated just now the coverage is very very light, even saying that it's medium is kind of pushing it ~ the best way I could describe it is it being very 'natural' on the skin where you can still see through your own face, in other words it's not cakey or like you just applied on a mask layer of foundation and it is extremely lightweight ~
If you have more problematic areas you could try mixing this in with a concealer or a higher coverage foundation/bb cream and see if that will help you to get the desired coverage you
want ~

"HAVE IT IN LIGHT AND NATURAL WAY:
Your skin ages faster if too much make-up is applied, Use foundation with light texture and high level of moist, to get healthy and glowing skin.

FLAWLESS GLOW FOUNDATION:
This foundation does not contain glitter particles, it pulls out that glow from your own skin with moist, giving you a healthier and younger looking skin.

TIP!
Due to it's light texture, it can't cover up your flaws and blemishes perfectly like other thick foundations.
This may act as a negative factor when purchasing but remember, natural and light make-up is the key for younger and healthier skin!

- If you are worrying about blemishes, we recommend natural base make-up or covering them with concealer to avoid applying too much foundation. (For complete cover, create a thick layer of concealer-foundation-concealer to cover up)
- Do not rely on foundation for covering up pores, we recommend you to use a pore primer as a base first, then using foundation."

            - 3CE TEAM

The packaging is very cute though ~ not in the sense like Etude House or Paul & Joe and Jill Stuart cute ~ those packaging are just like a gem from a princess' home XD but this is very simple and cute, yet still sleek ~ very much like the nursing cream and this goes for all of the products from 3CE really ^^ ~
This comes with 30ml of product which is the standard size of any bottled/tube foundations that we see in the beauty market ~ and even though Foundations have a smaller capacity of product than BB creams, CC creams and tinted moisturizers for those of you who may not be fond of BB creams, but for some reason I always find that a bottle of foundation last a lot longer than a BB cream does...
OK I do admit I have a lot of foundations and I always switch them up from time to time so that's probably the main factor as to this but I also find myself using a lot more of BB cream (as in one application) than with foundation..
Am I the only one?
Packaging has no English on it apart from the shade colour so if you want to find out more about the product you would have to go to the international StyleNanda website ~

Also, there is no pump to this T.T I believe mine is the older packaging though? I think the newer version has one of them pip pet things like we see in a lot of serum bottles? which is better than nothing because it is hard to pour out just the right amount ~ I always end up pouring out way too much because the first time only a little bit comes out -_-" ~

Anyways moving on from that ~ the bottle itself is quite heavy ~ I am not exactly sure what material it's made out of but it feels like some kind of glass? like the ones that don't break easily when you drop it on the floor unless you use all your strength and throw it against a wall or something then I am sure it will break ~ but it is kind of heavy and that can be both a good and a bad thing ~ good because of it's sturdiness and how nice it looks in my collection standing on my vanity haha and bad because if your going travelling this is most likely going to add some weight and I wouldn't call this bulky but it's not the most thinnest and most flexible packaging either :/

The foundation is also very watery/runny which makes it easier to blend and it doesn't feel too thick on the skin either which is something I hate in a foundation ~ what's worse than feeling all caked up eh, but despite it being quite runny and the name 'waterful glossing' don't expect this to be extremely moisturizing either... your all probably thinking I just stated this foundation to be a 'dewy/glowing finish' but this foundation I find clings onto any dry patches on your skin and accentuates them even more, so dry skin peeps do exfoliate and prep your skin well before you use this ^^

HOW TO USE:
-Shake and mix well before using the foundation
-Apply small amount on wide areas first and spread it outwards
 * You can get more gloss by applying nursing cream before foundation.
This look is highly moist, we do not recommend  use of powders
(Slight use on T-zone is fine!)

Fragrance: No scent

Colour/Shade Selection: Poor, there are only 4 shades available
Colour Match: 3/5
Texture: 5/5
Coverage: 2.8/5 (with one layer only)
Effect/Finish: 4/5 (Water Glow Skin effect)
Lasting Ability: 2/5
Oil Control: 1.5/5
Overall: 3/5 (this is my current rating for this foundation in the summer, it may change during the winter months, as I find this probably will work best for me then) Overall Comments:
There are many good points that I would reward this foundation, like the fact that this has no fragrance to it makes the foundation easier to use in my opinion, as I tend to sometimes break out from highly fragranced foundations such as Chanel, the texture and the resulting finish is probably my favourite part of the product though, because this just feels so lightweight on the skin you don't feel as if you have a layer of foundation on and the finish of this is just lovely ~ as someone who has always envied Korean celebrities and non-celebrities even, they all seem to have such beautiful glowing skin and this gives exactly that result, it's not over dewy but it's not matte and is a little more than semi-matte, i don't exactly know how to describe it and even in pictures it doesn't do the actual look justice like it does in person.
Out of all the foundations I have tried I would probably say the effect/finish this gives me has to be my favourite and now that is saying something.

However, I just wished that this would have better oil control and I know, i know that this isn't meant to be a 'matte' foundation so it's probably not best marketed towards oily/combination skin types but if they could just make it a little bit more durable for oily skin types this would actually be my HG item ~ maybe during the winter I will love this more...
And because of my oily skin, this foundation just doesn't work for me in the heat as it MELTS right off my face ~ sounds gross doesn't it, but I've using all different primers, setting it with various powders that I own and prepping and setting my skin with a matte type of face mist before and after make-up application but no. it just doesn't want to work for me -.-
Another note is that the shade selection is POOR and when I mean POOR I mean BAD! they make this foundation for two different skin tones, pink and yellow and within those skin tone categories they have 2 different colour shades for them, I chose the lightest of the two yellow based tones #MILK IVORY, the one above it is ever so slightly darker but since my neck, chest and rest of my body tends to be paler than my face I thought I would get this shade ~ I think this colour would be best for people around NC20-25 skin tones and if your slightly darker like around NC25-NC30 then go for the one above it ~ but because the foundation is quite lightweight this does blend out to your skin tone eventually ~ but I will definitely not recommend this foundation for anyone who is darker than NC30 because it just won't work on the skin.

Overall, I do like this foundation and I would recommend it to you all, if you have normal/dry skin type and you are quite pale ~ for oilier skin types I would still recommend this if your only going out for a few hours or your staying indoors where there is air conditioning and you would be willing to touch up your face through out the day ~ however, you see here in England majority of places here do NOT have air conditioning because, well.. our weather never generally gets this hot like the past few weeks ~ if you live in other countries where you have air conditioning on the bus, shopping centres/malls, houses, schools/colleges, tube/trains then you will be fine and it might last a little better for you ~ but for me I have to survive with fans which aren't the coolest thing on the planet T_T

Would I Repurchase: Yes, only as a winter foundation though

You can buy this product here.

REVIEW: 3CE [3 CONCEPT EYES] NURSING CREAM ~
I'm sorry it took this long to post another blogpost, My camera was having a little difficulties and then I left for holiday and I had no wi-fi at my auntie's house which I was staying in so I couldn't upload any blogposts for around 2 weeks but now that I am back I will try and catch up considering I have nothing else to do in the summer LOL!

I don't know whether you have all heard of the cosmetic brand name called '3 CONCEPT EYES' or better known as the shorten version '3CE'. They are a Korean brand from the online shopping mall Stylenanda.

I purchased all of mine from their official global website, and let me tell you not many Korean online shopping malls (those who don't know what an online shopping mall is, it's basically a online website but is it just me or does only Koreans call them shopping malls?) apart from bongjashop, do any of you know anymore? if you do please let me know because I am willing to have a browse around ^^ ~
The shipping is EXPENSIVE! I believe you get free shipping to the US and some other parts of the country depending on where you lye within when you spend over a certain amount I think it's $200. But for the UK shipping is a bit different and a little bit more expensive than it is to the US and obviously other parts of Asia. Furthermore, you have to pay for tax on your packages beforehand and bare in mind you might be charged extra for custom charges depending on the country you live in and the international borders of whether they want to put a charge on or not.

As I have stated in my haul I have been charged, I can't remember how much now, but it was around £20-25 which you might think it's a lot, but because my EMS packages from Korea are all pretty much sent via Parcelforce and they have a tendency to love to charge consumers extra for their clearance fee. They will then send a letter to the billing address and you ring them up with the reference number and pay the amount charged and you rearrange a date for them to send you your package or you can go to your local depot and give them the tracking number and some sort of ID of yours, drivers license, bus pass/oyster card with a photo and name, passport, ID card, college ID, university ID, school ID and etc basically anything with your photo and your name on it to confirm your identity and then you just pay them and collect your parcel.

Now moving on from custom charges and all that crappy information that none of you probably even want to know lets move on to the review ~

This product is meant to be sort of like an all purpose balm that can be used on any parts of your body that has or feels dry. For example, this can be used as a lip balm/nourishment, moisturizer for the face, on your knees and elbows where it tends to get driest the quickest, your hair and etc.

~~

It comes with a spatula YAY! ^^ ~

and a lid separator so the product doesn't dry out as quickly ~

~~

You only need a small amount for your whole face, a little goes a very long way ~

It is made from all natural ingredients derived from different essential oils so it is really moisturizing, it also claims to have no preservatives, no artificial colouring and no artificial scents added to the ingredients list which is always a plus. It contains argan oil, olive oil and palm tree seed butter which helps with maintaining moisture in your skin. Despite all these oils added in and many other balm or nursing type creams that I have come across this doesn't have a horrible scent to it, actually I don't really smell anything when I apply this on or even if there is a scent it is extremely light which I like ~

Despite it being made from all natural types of oils, this actually comes in a solid yellow block of product inside the jar and when you scoop it out (It comes with it's own spatula which I think all jar products should) and melt the products with your hands the solid block turns into a liquidy oil form which I found quite cool ^^ ~

Although, my skin is getting oilier and oilier now there are still some days when my skin feels dry and tight or dehydrated and is wanting something to pick my skin up and revive it or when I just want extra moisture to create that 'glossy' face look which sometimes I don't even understand why I do since I have oily skin already...
Also I have EXTREMELY dry and chapped lips and this tends to keep it moisturized for a good amount of time so I would say if you have dry skin all over your face this may actually work miracles for you.
I only apply this to my nose, upper lip and the sides of my nose just below my eye area as those are my driest parts on my skin and it does a good job moisturizing and making make-up look more flawless as it doesn't accentuate the dry patches and flakes.

In one of the Stylenanda video's on YouTube where they demonstrated a tutorial look featuring this and other 3CE products they also used this as a highlighter product, I have yet to actually try that and see what it looks like but if I ever do I will take a picture and update it on here ^^ ~

Enjoy the video ~ ^^ Park Sora is so damn gorgeous T_T I wish I looked like her...

Oh and last but not least the packaging, I actually think the packaging is so sophisticated and sleek and the way they wrapped everything for you was so neat (sorry I threw all mine away >.<) and before when you first get your order everything has this sticker on the product that is attached to the lid so you know it hasn't been opened and used before ~ I also love the logo design for this, it's cute but not in the sense of like Etude House cute, that is just princess girly! but this is cute in a urban chic way XD I do love it a LOT but I'm sure not many of you even care about the logo but studying Graphic Designs and logo branding being one of my favourite and most enjoyable units within that subject, Logos do affect me quite a lot ~ hahahahaha

Information/details of the product and how to use and apply this on ~
Precautions and warning information ~

The only con I would say is that the packaging is all in Korean, which doesn't help international buyers who can't or don't understand the language very well but if you want further information about it you could also go on their global website whereby they have written English descriptions about this product and to make life easier, just click here and it will redirect you to the URL of the product.

when you scoop it out it comes out as a solid block ~
But as soon as you apply it to the skin or the temperature heat from your body reaches within the product it starts to melt and break down ~
Some lumps of the product may be harder to melt so you would have to press and roll it in circular motions to break them down then you should be left with a oil texture on your skin ~

Keep blending and tapping it into the skin and the leave it and wait for it to dry, it will take a while depending on how much you apply on to the skin ~

After it has been completely absorbed your skin feels a lot smoother and hydrated now ~

Fragrance: NO SCENT :D
Texture: 3.8/5
Moisture/Hydration: 4.5/5
Irritation: 0/5
Effects: 4/5
Overall: 4.3/5

Other Comments:
I love that this is 100% natural ingredients yet it doesn't have a horrible scent as I find a lot of cosmetics that I have tried from organic brands don't have the most pleasant scent as they don't add any 'perfume/artificial fragrance' to it.
Although, this is a 'oil based' product I don't find it to be too rich or too moisturizing on the skin even though do bare in mind I don't apply this to the entire face just on the areas which are most dry but it doesn't feel too heavy or sticky which I find some oil based moisturizers can do. Furthermore, at first I was also a bit worried of applying this onto my skin as I thought the oil can clog up my pores and cause me to break out which I have a fear of, if you've ever suffered with acne you will understand me surely, right?
But I was surprised this didn't really clog up my pores, however, I am not sure whether it is because of the actual product or whether it's because of my other skincare items that I use which helps with unclogging the pores at the end of a long day...
Overall, I like this product, I don't think it's my HG moisturizer though since my skin does tend to get more oily during the summer but I think this will be nice and a saviour for me during winter or for those who have dry/very dry skin all year round, it's worth a try ^^

Would I repurchase: Yes
